Description

With the Emergency First Response training, you will learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and you will practice applying skills in a non stressful learning environment. Going through those steps, you will be able to respond appropriately when faced with a medical emergency.
The EFR course meet the CPR and first aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course and all professional-level ratings.
It is based on internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care.


Your program

The PADI EFR course is a one day training program, divided in two parts:

      • Primary Care: Here you will learn the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. You will learn how to perform CPR, correctly assess the scene, monitor the victim’s condition, and maintain his or her lifeline until professional help arrives.

      • Secondary Care: This part is the First Aid training for common injuries. Here you will learn how to handle non life-threatening conditions. You will learn to assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting, the use of protection against pathogens, as well as the basics of oxygen administration and Automatic External Defibrillation.
