What You Might See Diving in Siquijor
Siquijor rewards divers at every scale — from turtles cruising over coral gardens to tiny critters hidden among sand, rubble and reef. Sightings vary by site, season and conditions, but these are some of the encounters we regularly look for.
Turtles
Green and hawksbill turtles are regularly encountered around several of Siquijor’s reefs, whether resting among the coral or cruising through the shallows.
Macro & Critters
Frogfish, nudibranchs, pipefish, ghost pipefish, seahorses, shrimps and other small discoveries reward divers who slow down and look closely.
Reef Life & Schooling Fish
Colourful reef fish, sweetlips, parrotfish, snapper, jacks and mackerel bring movement to Siquijor’s coral gardens, slopes and walls.
Blue-Water & Occasional Sightings
Trevally, barracuda and mackerel may appear around more open sites, while whitetip reef sharks are an occasional possibility. These encounters are a bonus rather than something we promise.
